Tournament Code of Conduct
1. Respect for Opponents: Treat your opponents with respect and courtesy at all times. Shake hands after the match, and refrain from any behavior that may be interpreted as disrespectful or unsportsmanlike.2. Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Celebrate your successes modestly and refrain from taunting, gloating, or engaging in any behavior that may detract from the enjoyment of the game for others.3. Courteous Behavior: Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor both on and off the court. Refrain from using profanity, engaging in verbal or physical altercations, or engaging in any behavior that may disrupt the tournament or offend others.4. Compliance with Tournament Rules: Familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations of the tournament and adhere to them at all times. If you have any questions or concerns about the rules, seek clarification from the tournament director rather than making assumptions or taking matters into your own hands.5. Grace in Victory and Defeat: Whether you win or lose, do so with grace and dignity. Congratulate your opponent on a game well played and learn from both your successes and your setbacks with humility and resilience.6. Charitable Spirit: Remember that the purpose of the tournament is to raise funds for a charitable cause. Participate with a spirit of generosity and community, and consider how your actions on and off the court can contribute positively to the overall success of the event.By adhering to this code of conduct, players can help ensure that the Charity Tennis Tournament is a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators. Any person in violation of these rules will be asked to leave the tournament immediately and they and their partner will be disqualified.
